The Frankfort City Library is sponsoring a gingerbread house decorating contest this holiday season.  So let your imagination run wild as you create your “dream” gingerbread house!  You can include your favorite candy, colors and any other enticing goodies that will make your house unique. Bring your decorated house into the library anytime during December.  Prizes will be awarded December 20.  Feel free to take your house to use at home for decoration after judging.

A Christmas tea for care home residents that was held on Friday, Dec. 8 was a big success.  About 15 residents arrived at the library, ready to taste all those goodies!  We started right in tasting the candy that the board members had made. While eating, Alice read us some Christmas stories and that led into lots of reminiscing about things that had happened to us.  Our conversation seemed to lead to horse accidents while growing up!  We decided that Jackie (head of social events) might be challenged taking everyone home with so much sugar!

Story hour is every Wed and Thurs 1:15 - 2:00 for children ages 3-5
